The 2011 edition of the Heartland Goat Expo will be held at the Cherokee County Fairgrounds in Columbus, Kansas. This years event features a two-day goat conference, a pen sale and a free goat meat lunch. There will also be a trade show for commercial vendors and farm exhibits. The event will be sponsored by the National Kiko Registry and is open to all goat breeders and all goat breeds. If you are new to goats, or thinking about adding goats to your life, this is your opportunity to learn from some of the country's top small ruminant specialists, visit with experienced goat producers, and make new friends. If you are an old hand, here is your chance to show the quality of your goats, visit with old friends, and explore new marketing opportunities in the Heartland.
